"Talking" is derived from my sketch creation, which captures the scene of two girls talking. Because the current perspective is that they can’t see their facial expressions, so in my daily life, I have a sense of what happens when talking This kind of color and shape that can't be seen with the naked eye is confused about abstract emotions. If we can clearly see these phenomena that are enough to be signs in the dialogue, then maybe people may not be alienated, and they will become closer again. This is a continuous cycle of situations, right?
:「 I can't see your face, but I can feel you. 」
In this regard, I know that I have raised a question that will not be answered, but I still want to try to use clearer lines to figure out this invisible and abstract emotion, and try to make it concrete again and again. To simulate the atmosphere when they talk.
When the flat painting is separated from the paper and transferred to a hard material, is it possible to produce a new visual effect? It was me who repeated and rethought during the challenge; therefore, Talking is an extended work experimenting with hardware materials and a representative work in 2018.
The sewing threads and wrapping paper are hand-made.
